Illini Student Musicals is a student based organization at the University of Illinois that runs a fully produced musical every semester. Lyla Miriam served as their head graphic designer and content coordinator during the 2023 - 2024 school year. The Prom is musical centered Emma Nolan, a gay teenager from Indiana who just wants to make her girlfriend to the prom. When backlash from the PTA makes the news, four broadway stars come to town to help her in homes to improve their own public image.

Lyla Miriam designed the visual brand for signage, posters, social media, and merch regarding this production. She also created all promotional videos for socials, co made the pro-shot, led the promotional photoshoots, and shot rehearsal and production photos.
